Our aim is to reduce the wastage of high quality ready to eat food by simply sharing it! We ‘save’ food which would otherwise go to waste, such as buffet leftovers in hotels or restaurants, donating it to people in need through a very simple and no-cost food sharing system. Our initiative is based on a direct food sharing approach which create a win-win situation for both who donate and who receive food whilst keeping in mind all food safety and legal implications: On one side we are working together with food donors such as hotels, restaurants and caterers, supermarkets and bakery shops, etc. who are collecting and make available for us their food surpluses, making an environmental and social commitment, while cutting down on waste disposal costs at the same time! On the other side, we link our food donors with food receivers (local NGO’s, community centers, orphanages, retired houses, community schools) who are ready and committed to receive the donated food and distribute/share among the people most in need improving the quality of their meals and nutrition while cutting down on cooking and shopping costs at the same time!
